2. Purpose of processing

Personal data provided through the website contact forms will be processed for the following purposes:

  • Managing and responding to enquiries, information requests and quote requests made through the contact form.
  • Maintaining commercial communication arising from enquiries, always related to the products and services offered by Eletrans.

3. Legal basis for processing

The legal basis for the processing of your personal data is:

  • Consent of the data subject: given by ticking the privacy policy acceptance box on the contact form (Article 6.1.a of the GDPR).
  • Legitimate interest: for the management of pre-existing commercial relationships (Article 6.1.f of the GDPR).

The user may withdraw consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing based on consent prior to its withdrawal.

4. Data collected

The following personal data is collected through the contact form:

  • Full name
  • Email address
  • Phone number (optional)
  • Company name (optional)
  • Message or enquiry content

Fields marked as mandatory on the form are necessary to process your request. Failure to provide them will prevent your enquiry from being processed.

5. Data recipients

Personal data will not be disclosed to third parties, except where required by law. No international data transfers are made outside the European Economic Area.

6. Data retention period

Personal data provided through the contact form will be retained for as long as necessary to manage your enquiry and, once resolved, for the legally established periods to address any liabilities arising from the processing. As a general rule, data will be retained for a maximum period of 2 years from the last communication, unless a legal obligation requires retention for a longer period.

7. Rights of the data subject

In accordance with current data protection legislation, the user has the right to:

  • Access: to know whether your personal data is being processed and, if so, to obtain information about it.
  • Rectification: to request the correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Erasure: to request the deletion of your data when, among other reasons, it is no longer necessary for the purposes for which it was collected.
  • Restriction of processing: to request the restriction of processing of your data in certain circumstances.
  • Portability: to receive personal data concerning you in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format, and to transmit it to another controller.
  • Objection: to object to the processing of your personal data.

Exercising your rights

To exercise any of the above rights, you may send your request in writing to the email address info@eletrans-sl.com or to the postal address: Carrer Moreres 3, 08916 Badalona, Barcelona. The request must include a copy of your identity document (DNI, NIE or passport) to verify your identity.

8. Right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority

If you consider that the processing of your personal data infringes current legislation, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD), located at C/ Jorge Juan 6, 28001 Madrid, through its electronic office: www.aepd.es.

9. Security measures

Eletrans has adopted the necessary technical and organisational measures to ensure the security and integrity of personal data, as well as to prevent its alteration, loss, unauthorised processing or access, in accordance with current legislation.

10. Amendment of the privacy policy

Eletrans reserves the right to amend this Privacy Policy to adapt it to legislative or case-law developments. In such cases, changes will be announced on this page with reasonable advance notice before implementation.
