Multi-rib belts (also known as poly-V or PV) combine the flexibility of a flat belt with the power transmission capacity of a V-belt. Their ribbed profile enables very compact drives with small-diameter pulleys.
High transmission ratio (up to 1:40), quiet operation, high linear speed (up to 60 m/s), reduced minimum pulley diameter and long service life.
