Insulating rings for rotating machinery

Durostone® support rings are used in high-power generators and electric motors to support and insulate the rotor windings at high rotational speeds.

Made from glass-fibre composite with epoxy resin, they offer a unique combination of mechanical strength against centrifugal forces and Class F and H electrical insulation.

Applications

Turbo-generators, hydroelectric generators, traction motors, wind generators and large synchronous and asynchronous motors.
